Ubuntu Ltsp server will not let clients connect to the internet?

I setup a fedora LTSP server with no problems. However i'm failing to do the same on ubuntu (i follwed the documentation from k12ltsp.org which have specific steps). however I cannot seem to bridge the two network cards on ubuntu (if that is what is required). The clients boot (eth1) but cannot seem to access the internet. For some reason (i think) the network manager is causing the problems? I'm lost for reasons as to why it won't work. Eth0(facing the internet) is set to dhcp so it should get all the info by itself.

I hope thats enough info

I'm juggling between 9.04 and 8.10/8.04 lol

Cheers

Chris
