Ubuntu Edgy + PPTP Server

Hello friends!!

I have decided to write this post for 2 reasons:

I have had some problems installing PopTop on my Ubuntu machine and after many times I have found the problem:
On ubuntu repository, the logwtmp was compiled with version 2.4.3 but Edgy have 2.4.4.
So I have found this mini how to that solve the problem:

sudo apt-get install libwrap0-dev debhelper
sudo apt-get source pptpd
cd pptpd-1.3.0/plugins
sudo vi patchlevel.h
And change the line:
#define VERSION "2.4.3"
#define VERSION "2.4.4"
Save the file and do the following
cd ../..
sudo apt-get -b source pptpd
sudo dpkg -i pptpd_1.3.0-1ubuntu1_i386.deb
sudo dpkg -i bcrelay_1.3.0-1ubuntu1_i386.deb
After this, my PPTP server work fine!!

But now, i have a problem with repository:

Synaptic want update my pptpd with Ubuntu package...
What can I do for solve this problem??
I would like to take my version and not a repository version!!
