Ububtu Server + Windows Workstations + Backup Strategies
Hi all,
Ive talked my boss into an ubuntu server.His next question is backup .Any ideas on how to implement this.we have the following hardware.
1 x ubuntu server
3 x windows xp workstations
1 x 2TB Thecus NAS
any ideas on software or strategies would be greatly appreciated.I had thoughts of backing up all clients to the server and then the server to the NAS but it seems like double work.Just after a simple & reliable method.
Bacula is a full backup solution for both the server and the three clients. It could use the NAS as it's storage location, keep track of incrementals etc.
