Trying to connect to SVN server after setup
Hi, I installed Subversion (and apache which was required) to a computer running xbuntu using the instructions in this howto: http://polishlinux.com/apps/subversion-howto/
But now when I try to connect/checkout the repository from a windows box it fails saying that the server cannot be accessed. First problem could be that the linux server is behind a firewall but my question is how can I check this and open the required port? If that is not the problem are there any other suggestions? Thanks. PS. I dont have domain name for my server so I just typed the IP where the article author used his domain name, do you think this was ok? |
