Troubleshooting Fedora DS Client Search Error?

I have configured a fedora DS client with the entry into the /etc/ldap.conf and /etc/nsswitch.conf.When I tried to run #getent passwd rsingh inorder to see if the user earlier added to the fedora Directory Server is authenticated or not.It displays no output.I checked the error file under slapd-<host>/logs/ directory. It says:

--------------------------------------------------------
34 +051800] conn=37 fd=67 slot=67 connection from 10.14.242.164 to 10.14.242.124
[04/Oct/2007:13:44:34 +051800] conn=37 op=0 BIND dn="cn=Directory Manager" method=128 version=3
[04/Oct/2007:13:44:34 +051800] conn=37 op=0 RESULT err=0 tag=97 nentries=0 etime=0 dn="cn=directory manager"
[04/Oct/2007:13:44:34 +051800] conn=37 op=1 SRCH base="dc=logicacmg,dc=com" scope=2 filter="(&(objectClass=posixAccount)(uid=rsingh))" attrs="uid userPassword uidNumber gidNumber cn homeDirectory loginShell gecos description objectClass"
[04/Oct/2007:13:44:34 +051800] conn=37 op=1 RESULT err=0 tag=101 nentries=0 etime=0
[04/Oct/2007:13:44:34 +051800] conn=37 op=-1 fd=67 closed - B1
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think the above log shows that The LDAP client is bening connected to LDAP Server but there is something I am confused with the User Entry and thats the reason it is showing nentries=0.Can anyone help me with this?
