Not that I am disagreeing with you, or arguing that SSHFS is not a viable solution; but if the two VMs are on the same server, how do you figure an ISP will factor into the equation at all?? As with any problem, there are a wealth of solutions, and in reality, since we are not seeing the entire scope of the problem, we really can't offer a 100% solution, just guidance at best.... Can you be more definitive in your ISP reasoning? I am always open to learning if I am not catching on!

^ oh, didn't catch that we were talking about multiple vm's in a single machine.
