Hi. I have a Vncserver running on a Raspbian and everything goes almost well. I connect to this serrver from a Android tablet, but I don't have a good touchscreen response.
If I touch a point of the screen the mouse don't go there, it doesn't move. If I want to move the cursor I have to drag from anypoint of the screen in that direction, so it moves, but it isn't so comfortable as it should be. I don't know if I explined well...
I had a look at vncserver options but i didn't find any touchscreen options. Other important thing is I can only connect from "vnc viewer" client. All other android client I tried give me an auth error.

a couple of thoughts
1) you COULD use an android based SSH client and X11 Server (both are available, free, in the play store)
2) you can use a Bluetooth mouse with an android tablet
not exactly what you are looking for I realize, just food for thought as alternatives if you can't get what you need to work, as for the 'pointer' it seems that the vnc client (as does the X11 server) emulates a mouse by requiring you to drag the pointer into place before clicking, annoying. I would suggest a Bluetooth mouse, they're relatively cheap.
You are right about the bluetooth mouse, but it's not a good solution in my case because I am usinga a eInk tablet and it isn't enough smooth for doing this in a comfortable way. Anyway, I will buy one of those bluetooth mouse.
Doug G, the point of knowing why others vnc clients can't connect with the VNC server it's a good one. But don't know where to start
Frieza, do you think it will work better with a VNC over SSH connection? Why do you think that?

i was suggesting an X11 connection over ssh, however i did not suggest it would work better, only that it was a possible alternative, that and SSH provides a layer of encryption, though i believe tightvnc is encrypted.
@Frieza , maybe you are in a good path because the reason I think I cannot connect with any vnc clients its probably due the autenthication proces. With Bvnc, which I am very interested in using if 'cause a client modification that will work better with my device, it gives me a security protocol error. I tried all possibilities that bvnc offers me but no one worked.
As I said, I am not the one who started the vnc server and don't know how he did it, but if it's a way of starting another vnc server without breaking the one that is running and configure it with SSH or another protocol I will ask you to say i to me.
