total process time and time in present state(sleep/running/ uninterruptible).

I want to know the total time of a process and total time in the present state(sleep/running/uninterruptible etc).
I can able to see the total process by using ps command but not the time of process in present state.

[Redhat or CentOS operating system with bash shell]

That would legitimately be considered useless information by the kernel/scheduler. Kernel devs are pathological about wasting time/RAM/effort.
You should be able to obtain it yourself from any of perf, ftrace, lttng ...
Ingo put a lot of effort into perf, might be worth starting there - doco in the kernel source tree.
