tmp backup to save all share data in samba
 
iam using samba in centos5.4.

shared folder is mapped with window client pc with mydocument and alldata saved in mydocument get saved in samba server.

i need some tmp backup to save all share data for time being in tmp folder so unfortunately if user deleted some data get restore from tmp dir.

i have backup server for that but it take backup after working time.

ok you are not 100% clear. if you have a backup server then use that to perform the backup. Id use rsync in combination of cron and set it to backup every 15min or so.

also keep in mind that in CentOS the default retention days for /tmp is roughly 28 days IIRC. this means that every day any file that is older then 28 days is removed from the system to never be found again :D.
