Hello and welcome to LinuxQuestions,

When asking a question or requesting help with a problem you have it's very important to include as much information as possible. In your case we're missing the largest part of the information. You've mentioned what distro you use but fail to mention anything about the timer part. Can you indicate what software you're using to administer your cyber cafe, what software the timer is, version and what procedure you are following (links to documentation)? Also if you've encountered errors when trying to install, what where the errors exactly?

Looking forward to your participation in the forums. Have fun with Linux.

Kind regards,

Eric
