thunderbird + importing mail , settings and address book

Hi all,

I have reinstalled my machine, i have backed up my home directory but i forgot that i was having a pop account i didnt backup my mails.

But i found a .thunderbird directory in my home directory with an adressbook.mab file and ujzg5ipm.default with directory Mail and in it a file Inbox, is there a way that i can import these mails.

I am using thunderbird and i want to import my settings to another thunderbird mail client itself,

i tried the import link but it gives me an option to only to import mails from Comunicator,
i also tried to import the addressbook that also failed.

Thanks in advance.
Regards,

In the .thunderbird folder edit profiles.ini to reflect your old installation (ujzg5ipm.default):

Code:

[General]
StartWithLastProfile=1

[Profile0]
Name=default
IsRelative=1
Path=ujzg5ipm.default
Default=1

Im pretty sure this worked for me in the past
