this domain not hosted here

i had been setting up a mailserver but something went funny with it, so basically i have had to wipe it and start again. Evan though i thought i had setup everything backup how it was i now cant seem to send emails to the server. i get a bounce back saying this domain is not hosted here.

is there something wrong with my main.cf file which i have posted below or is there something else i have missed of and need to check.

Are there any errors in /var/log/mail.err? (you don't mention what distro).

Are this and this you? Been having this problem for a long time have we?

those two posts

those two posts where from me but that was a while back when i was just trying it out on a virtual machine. Now this is on its own box. and its ubuntu the latest server build. I had it all working on debian but decided to remove that and put ubuntu on instead.

the error coming up is: Jun 16 09:06:07 mail postfix/smtpd[4443]: fatal: parameter "smtpd_recipient_restrictions": specify at least one working instance of: check_relay_domains, reject_unauth_destination, reject, defer or defer_if_permit
Jun 16 09:07:08 mail postfix/smtpd[4448]: fatal: parameter "smtpd_recipient_restrictions": specify at least one working instance of: check_relay_domains, reject_unauth_destination, reject, defer or defer_if_permit

Try adding "reject_unauth_destination" to the end of smtpd_recipient_restrictions.
