Smile The requested URL /zm/ was not found on this server.

I have been running Zoneminder on ubuntu12.04 for sometime and decided
to upgrade to ubuntu 14.04. All seemed to have completed successfully.
But I don't have web access to zm. When I do 192.168.0.3/zm I get
"The requested URL /zm/ was not found on this server." When I do
192.168.0.3 without the zm I get Apache 2 default page. On that page
it says "You should replace this file (located at /var/www/html/index.html) before continuing to operate your HTTP server." Replace it with what ? I did zoneminder stop and start, success.
There are zm daemons running in the processes.
thanks for taking the time to read my question, I hope you can help.
yt.

There was a change in apache DocumentRoot between ubuntu-12.04 and ubuntu-14.04. It was changed from /var/www to /var/www/html
So I guess you need to do the appropriate changes in the config files, so /zm works again.

That is what I understood the Apache default page meant to say but,
What replaces /var/www/index.html ? What was in /var/www that replaces
it ?

Thanks for taking the time, I hope I don't have to start from scrap to get this
to work.

As I've told you the new docroot is now /var/www/html (and not /var/www as in the previous ubuntus).
So you have to either change it back (editing /etc/apache2/sites-available/000-default.conf), or create the symlink to the zm config file (see point 7 here) and enable it

Regards
