Syslog to XML


Quick Question ..

What is the easiest way in Linux to convert syslog messages to XML ?

What do you mean, 'to xml'? There is no specific format for syslog as xml, so you could just put a single tag around it, add a one line header, and that's xml... : confused: one easy way to write logs as a different format is to use syslog-ng as your syslog server. You can write messages in whatever format you wish. Within reason.
