Syslog question

I use a program that generates otp for users in (the users is fetched from a ldap database), the program writes to a log file. The program dosnt seem to have support for write direct to syslog. I want to send the logfile with some sort of syslog to a event handler on the network. Any tip?

Rsyslog (and syslog-ng?) should be able to read arbitrary log files. If they can read them they can (most likely) remote-syslog them.
