Suse 10.2 onto Soekris 4801 using vmware and a cf
Hello everyone,
I am working on putting Suse 10.2 onto a Soekris 4801 using a cf card an doing a direct install to it using VMware. Now obviously there will be boot loader changes in GRUB. But has anyone here done this?
We are going to be using the soekris as a streaming webcam box that can be easily moved around the network as a prototype.
Any thoughts, notes, or if you had a cf image already working?
Thanks,
Ronnie

Thanks, I tried, but I wanted to install directly to the card to save myself a wack of work. I couldn't get it to boot afterwords, my thoughts were that the grub loader was messing up at some point.
