Question Supported Clients by NIS

I am doing my assignment and requirement is to setup NIS server and windows client. I tried a lot but could not find any post which gives the procedure of setting up windows as NIS client.

Is it really possible to have NIS windows client or we can use *nix systems only.

Plz do help me !!

It is my understanding that you are going to need the "Unix Compatability Tool Kit" form MS and it is a real PITA to set up imho. I "believe" it is about a 180MB download.
