Strange Time sync errors : and drift on Linux Servers at Perticular time

Hi All,
In our environment we are seeing strange behavior on many Linux VMs (CentOS Servers) which is observed as below (notice time stamps)

1. at particular time say at "21:00 PM" it reports error
-- Jan 15 21:01:27 <HOSTNAME> lsass: [lsass] Failed to sync system time [error code: 40075]

2. After this There is no other error till "Jan 15 21:13:03"

3. After this the VM time drifts back to "Jan 15 21:07:48" ( 6 min behind ) with same error
-- Jan 15 21:07:48 <HOSTNAME> lsass: [lsass] Failed to sync system time [error code: 40075]

4. After that the time sync continues normally.

The VMs are added in our domain and use pbis for the domain intigration

Request you to share some light on the issue and assist me troubleshooting this as its impact is severe in my live environment.

Thanks,

Somebody elsewhere suggested last year that one of the PBIS components resets local time to that of the DC. Set up a test VM and make it not use PBIS and see if that shows time skews too. If it does work contact Likewise / PowerBroker. If it doesn't help then tell us what virtualization product you're using, what changed when this problem started manifesting itself, if you've researched specific VMs (and the stack they are on down to hardware, network and storage) for resource (over)utilization and if you've read that virtualization products documentation on time keeping best practices.
