Thumbs up starting serverice from remote system


Dear All

i try to write a script to start and stop jboss service from remote systems. starting and stopping jboss service is working fine on local system. when i try to start jboss service from remote system . i not able to start jboss service . see the command out put below.

JBOSS_CMD_START = cd /u02/Jboss-4.2.2-GA//bin; /u02/Jboss-4.2.2-GA//bin/run.sh -b 192.168.187.11 default
Connection to 192.168.187.11 closed.
when i try to stop jboss service from remote system. it is working fine and jboss service stopped successfully.see the command out put below.

suggest any one to solve this problem.

Hi mail2mphani,

I found difference of JBOSS_CMD_START value.

Quote:
JBOSS_CMD_START = cd /u02/Jboss-4.2.2-GA//bin; /u02/Jboss-4.2.2-GA//bin/run.sh -b 192.168.187.11 default

JBOSS_CMD_STOP = /u02/Jboss-4.2.2-GA//bin/shutdown.sh -S -s 192.168.187.11:1099
if you have script in /sbin just check that script.

I never user jboss so it might be not resolve issue.
