starting named at boot

hi guys
i have red hat running on my comp
and i wanted to have named to start automatically each time the computer boots
how can i do that?

chkconfig --level 2345 named on

i got an : "chkconfig command not found..."
is there something missing ?
like a pckg to install or a patch?
i ran the #whereis chkconfig
it is installed

oh ok
i got it
i just did: # su -
so that i could use full root environment path.
and i ran the command again
it's working
