squidguard restart issue
 

I run squid v2.5 + squidguard v1.2.0. I am also using a blacklist obtained from urlblacklist.com
Access has been provided to users based on IPs.

Whenever there is a new request for internet, i add the IP into squidguard.conf file. The squid service is then required to be restarted OR i run "squid -k reconfigure" Either ways, the service takes very long time to start and users cannot access net during this interval.

I guess this is not the right way to reload the squidguard conf file as it unnecessarily rebuilds the db from the url blacklist. Is there a better way to reload the config file without rebuilding the DBs?
