I have never used Squid before, but I am looking for a proxy solution to run on my server which supports FTP via SSL (FTPS). Is that possible? If yes, any links or quick hints on how to configure it?
Also my server only has 512MB RAM, will that be sufficient to run squid? I am runnning a webserver, mailserver and FTP server already(with very little load).
If it is not possible, is there any other solution out there that works? I tried Frox, but could not get it to work.
You would be better off looking at a SOCKS proxy instead of a http proxy would be my initial though, although it may well be possible to configure it under squid.
