Squid server network problem

hey guys,
i've configured Squid server Version 2.6.STABLE21 (centOS 5) on my VMware.

VM (i.e CentOS 5) has an ip address of 192.168.38.129
Native machine has IP with 10.211.55.3

I configured proxy in ma browser with 192.168.38.129 port 3128. Browser gives an error
'The proxy server is refusing connections'.

All suggestions will be appreciated and Thanks in Advance guys....

No idea what you're asking. What, exactly IS the problem? All you've told us is that "problem with networks to configure squid", which tells us nothing about your problem. You also haven't told us what kind of VM you're using, and what version/distro of Linux. And you also say "tried few ways but didnot work". WHAT didn't work? WHAT did you try? What were the results???

Without details, no one can help you.

Ok...you've slightly edited your original post, but are still missing details. You configured your browser...where is that browser running? On the VM machine, host machine, or some other machine? Have you configured squid on that port? Can you reach one network from the other? Is bridging set up on your VM (and you still haven't said what KIND of VM...such as vmware or virtualbox?) You said before that you 'tried few ways'...but still don't tell us what you tried, where.

Again, we need details. Off the cuff...try turning off any firewalls you may have running, after you're CERTAIN that you can reach one network from the other.
