Squid Redirect specific domain to an Secondary (External) Squid Proxy

Greetings,

I am attempting to get squid to forward only specific domains "*.example.com" to an external, secondary squid proxy, while leaving all other URLs alone.

I currently have two routes my ISP assigned IP address (eth1) and a VPN (tun0: 172.16.0.2). *.example.com is to go to a proxy on the other side of the tunnel.

Upon searching, all I can find are re-directors that will re-write URLs.

Can anyone point me to some documentation, or 'howtos' to help with this?

Thanks!

I wrote an small how to, it helps you to redirect all the http querys to another proxy, you can review it here http://soad1982.blogspot.com/2010/02...her-proxy.html

Im sure you will be able to redirect specific source or destinations if you use access lists or maybe a diferent proxy instance and redirect using iptables.

Sorry for the delay in response...

Thanks for the update. I will read up on access lists and see what can be done.
