SQUID - Problem Authenticating the users

Hello,

I have a problem with SQUID. I have installed squid 3.1 in a CentOS. The authentication method that i have chosen is ldap auth. I tryed to authenticate throw squid_ldap_auth in CentOS and after i inserted user and password it give back OK.

The problem is, in users computer, when he open's a IE, he prompt for credentials, don't assuming the users credentials inserted in users login. And then the user insert's the same user and password that he uses to acess to computer and he gives her the web page.

What i want is to IE don't prompt for user and password and assum the user and password that the user inseted when log on to the computer.

Need help :P

Regards

Hello and Welcome to LinuxQuestions,

At first glance, I believe this is an Internet Explorer problem you're having and in no way related to Squid / Linux. For that reason I suggest you ask a moderator to move this thread to the Non-*NIX/General forum.

Looking forward to your participation in the forums. Have fun with Linux.

Kind regards,

Eric
