squid - compression problems

I'm Running a squid server with transparent proxying.

With two different Browsers I got similiar errors when trying to post to a forum (www.voidwars.com/forum.php):

Firefox:
Quote:
Content Encoding Error
The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because it uses an invalid or unsupported form of compression.
* Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.
Chrome
Quote:
This webpage is not available.

The webpage at http://www.voidwars.com/forum.php? might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.

More information on this error
Below is the original error message

Error 330 (net::ERR_CONTENT_DECODING_FAILED): Unknown error.
I'm assuming this is a squid problem since other people haven't had problems outside this network, and it's (probably) clearly not a browser problem.

Any hints?

Have you tried making the request through telnet? You may also want to try modifying the accept-encoding parameter (in firefox, type "about:config" into the address bar. I will assume you cannot do this in internet explorer).
