Post Socks proxy server


how can we setup a socks proxy server.

pls help me. thnx in advncd

Spell out your words, please.

And provide details, like version/distro of Linux, etc. If you want to set up a proxy server, check into Squid. Chances are you can install it from your distros online repositories, and there are many how-to guides you can find via Google, to help you configure it the way you want to.

Ok...and if you read my first post, you can install Squid. It works on CentOS, and has many how-to guides.

I'm not sure, but Squid is not a socks proxy.

Try NYLON or DANTE for socks proxy.
