I built an SME Server using 7.4; it’s connected to a BT router (the black anywhere one) it works okay, but after while the server looses the internet connection. The time span for this varies, sometimes it’s an half an hour and another time it’s okay for two or three hours. When it happens I reboot the server and it works okay for a while and then looses the link again. Has anyone any ideas? I have posted on the SME site but no one answers.
Currently using a wired system.
System:

4 x 80GIG Samsung hard in Raid 5
Asus HD motherboard
AMD 64 4000 CPU
2 GIG RAM
DVD
2 x Gigabyte 1000 network cards

Is it a wired routers or a wireless routers (some models on the link: Wireless Devices)?
When i go on the official site i see there are router on both types.
If it's a wireless router I'm not surprised by these kind of problems, generally depend by the driver so you can't doing anything.

Hi Yes it's a wired system. Recently I have also noticed that when re-booting the server it takes three times as long.
