Setting up VPN for Windows machines to access remote Samba shares

Hi,

I'm trying to give some windows machines access to samba shares on a server in another office through a VPN. I've installed OpenSwan on the server and have access to the firewall to port forward the relevant ports, but the documentation on the OpenSwan wiki gates a bit dense beyond that point, and I was wondering if anyone had any pointers to a decent howto?

Hello,
I don't have much experience with the VPN but I would suggest you using the ssh tunnel for accessing samba. In my opinion the result would be the same. I did this many times and it always worked well.
