setting up a private network, using dnsmasq, I have small problem

DNSMASQ starts and operate like it should, but I'm trying to set dnsdomianname, I thought I already had set it with the domain option but I get this error dnsdomainname: Uknown Host. Google'in the error doesn't give me much to go on....How do I setup dnsdomainname?

On the system that runs the dnsmasq, check the output of hostname -f
And also you must setup your /etc/hosts correctly.
Also check your /etc/resolve.conf.
