Setting static IP
Hello,
I'm running a clean install of Fedora 7 in virtualbox, and I can't work out how to set a static IP address. I edit the settings, reset the network and then that virtual machine has no access to the internet. This is what I changed the settings to: Address: 192.168.2.100 Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0 Default Gateway Address: 192.168.2.1 I haven't got much experience in networking, so please explain in English :) ~Callum |
See the section entitled "Setting Up A Static IP Address Using The Command Line"

Clever, thanks :)
