Unhappy Setting bandwidth with proxy server


Dear All

Is it possible to set a user for transparent proxy with user authentication?

I am very much in problem to implement like this service in my office. plz help.

I don't know if they can be both transparent and user authenticated.
You may look at something like IPCop or Endian though - I've used them both for offices that needed a quick firewall that was easily manageable, and with the transparent proxy allowed them to filter the Internet to the users.
