Set envelop header From in mutt

I can set the From: address in mutt by:
Code:
FROM=thatuser@somedom.org mutt ...
but the envelop_from stays e.g. me@mydom.com. If I set ~/.muttrc to
Code:
set envelope_from_address=thatuser@somedom.org
set use_envelope_from=yes
then the envelope_from and the sender From: match.

Is there a way to set the envelope_from without using a .muttrc file?
