I'am in the middle of building an Home Server, I have seup Samba (Domain Contoler) I have setup user account for the Domain, H Drives etc, But when i come to my Windows Xp Pro Computers it can not find the domain :S
However, since Samba runs across networking, I would first check that.
Using ping, ssh, web browser, etc I would make sure the network
is actually working. Be sure to check any firewalls too.
Then I would take another look at smb.conf to be sure the correct
interface is set, etc.
Also check the logs. Both system and samba may be generating
something helpful in the log files.
