Updated to the newest kernel last night and had a little time to play with it. Ubuntu Server 9.10 Karmic kernel 2.6.31-?7? I think. Transfered about 50 or so gigs last night without a problem. Going to give it a more extensive testing later on this weekend. Will let you know how it goes. Again, thanks a bunch for everything Sasha, you've been a TREMENDOUS help!!! Will keep you posted in the following weeks.

Heya! No problem, happy I could help some, and I really hope it goes well for you! *fingers crossed*!

(I just 10 minutes ago got HighSpeed! I am VERY excited!!!)

Do keep us posted as to how that works, and what if anything you have to do further, if you run into any bugs.

Upgraded to 2.6.31-7-generic and everything seams to be going fine. Wasn't able to shutdown because of a bug in that specific kernel, so had to upgrade to 2.6.31-8-generic. Everything works great now. Sasha, couldn't have done it without you. A hundred times THANK YOU!!!! Your reward is on its way

No reward is required! Happy I could help, that's all. And hopefully your networking will continue as it should, trouble free.

PS - Once you're sure the problem is gone (at least in as far as this thread is concerned) you can mark this one [solved] using "Thread Tools" at the top.

All the best,
Sasha
