Sendmail with evolution problem


Hey some one can help me ?, I am using evolution email client with sendmail option ,it doesn’t give any error while sending emails however it doesn’t reach the destination..it is in sent items also -which ever i sent.i am using fedoro core 6

Hey There,

Can you post the output of sendmail -v here? Assuming you were sending to someone@abc.com from the box you have client on, type this from the command line:

/usr/lib/sendmail -v someone@abc.com
.

and post the output from that verbose trace? The answer might be right in there. Also, /usr/lib/sendmail might be /usr/bin/sendmail or /usr/sbin/sendmail, depending on what OS you're running.

hey it works now but it only reachs to gmail account ,I think Yahoo is blocking ,doesn't reach to m yahoo account any idea?????

Hey There,

Good news

Actually, if you do the "sendmail -v" in my previous post, it should print the error message, that the yahoo mail server is giving you, right to your screen.

If gmail's working you should be good (unless you work for google, in which case it's not a major milestone
