Question Sendmail Relay problem

I'm having a problem allowing my customers (of my ISP) to send email through me when residing outside of my network. I'd like to simply allow them to send via username authentication but I'll settle for using their IP address. Is there a way I can do this?

BTW, I've added their IP addresses to the /etc/mail/access file but still no good.

Thanks for any help.
