i have a fedora 11 os in which sendmail service is running
i am able to restart the senmail service successfully
i have not done any configuration in sendmail conf file

i am trying to send mail from command line from fedora but not working

guys can u help me
how to send mail from command line ?
i have root access so permission is not a issue at all
i have write some code so i want send mail from system command line
can u guys assist
and also tell me how to send mail from command line

Well Ashraf, this would be an easy task.
sendmail -t you@mail.com <ENTER>
this will wait for ur input, as u finish simply press ^D and it'll do the job for u.

To use sendmail from command line:

The '.' sends the message. You can, of course, add in other headers etc.
