Are you logging in as the user sunil or abc? In the example you gave for sending mail from sunil@test.abc.com, your server would be the domain test.abc.com and you'd have to create a user sunil on that server to log in and send mail. It appears from your example that you are trying to log in to a POP3 server, which would be to retrieve your mail. Sendmail SMTP authentication needs to be configured to either require authentication against the local server's user database or to authenticate through dovecot as POP3/IMAP. Can you clarify if you are trying to send mail through the SMTP sendmail component or retrive mail through the dovecot POP3 component, and if so, how you have to two connected to authenticate?
