Seeking Public Cloud Hosting in Japan (English system) for Ubuntu Server

We are seeking to deploy a MMORPG in Japan.

We have localized this game, which is gaining popularity in the English-speaking world, into Japanese and are seeking a public cloud IaaS hosting provider who can offer Ubuntu Server (prefer latest stable build if possible) in a Japan location.

Since our team doesn't read or speak Japanese, we need to have all systems, software, support docs, support services, etc. in English. Also, since our US office will be paying, prefer to deal with a US company.

Anybody have recommendations?

The following firms offer cloud hosting with a Japan node. This is not
a comprehensive list, but hope it helps. All offer Linux, and most
should have Ubuntu available as an OS template. In alphabetical order:

Amazon Web Services

GMO Cloud
https://us.gmocloud.com/

Hewlett Packard

Linode:

Savvis

SoftLayer:

VPS.net

All of the firms in the list are US-based except GMO Cloud, which is
one of the top hosting firms in Japan.

Since they don't charge for traffic and their Japan location is
actually their core business, I'd say they are worth checking out.

Thanks. Seems like a good group. Will check them out. Interesting to see an English speaking Linux community in Tokyo.

Thanks. I didn't realize GMO Cloud owned GlobalSign.

Good to see there is a cheaper alternative to AWS.
