Security concern on DSA as compared to RSA

Hi guys,

I was reading about RSA and DSA, somewhere I read a very strange blog about DSA that DSA is based on Govt Standards and any Govt Agency can decrypt your DSA Keys.

Is it really so unsecured to use DSA.

The Digital Signature Algorithm is a government standard: search for "FIPS 186-3".

Not AFAIK. But see DSA requirements for random k value (2010) for problems that could lead to recovering a private key, likewise for RSA-related problems Advances in RSA fault attacks (2008) and also see Lousy Random Numbers Cause Insecure Public Keys (2010).

Inform yourself, then ask.

HI

DSA is faster for signature generation but slower for validation

How is this an answer to what the OP asked?
