Secure mail download from ISP, check only from local LAN

Hi.

Using Debian Testing 64

Can I fetch mail for a local LAN and keep the store locally for
LAN users to check from the store 'Without' a full blown setup
such as;
Postfix, Dovecot, Amavis, ClamAV, and Spamassassin, Iredmail...

I wish to keep the ISP for outgoing server.

Can a mail guru please advise

Thank you.

Sounds like you're describing a basic IMAP or POP3 setup with TLS. Most ISPs support TLS for IMAP/POP3/SMTP these days.

Ser Olmy,
I can use the ISP for outgoing mail, but I'm focusing on the 'incoming' mail store for the LAN.

Any ideas ?
