samba share login script trouble

Hi all,

I have a Debian 4.0 domain controller running samba. When a users logs in on the domain they automatically run logon.bat, this script makes some network mappings but when a user don’t has the permission to open this share the computer asks for a password.
I know it is possible not to allow users to use another username when they connect an network share and the ‘NET USE’ Command ignores the share but I don’t know how I have to configure samba to make sure only the users of the right group can login,

Can somebody help me with this problem?

Kind regards
Bart

No I didn't
but I'm thinking about creating a check in my login.bat
Quote:
if access \\server\share net use U: \\server\share
Or something but I can't find the right keywords
On another network I set up a used this
Quote:
if exist \\pc-venster\groepen\groep NET USE G: \\pc-venster\groepen
But some users where deleting the files which where checked.

It is also possible to use kix using this script
Quote:
IF INGROUP("DOMAIN ADMINS")=1
USE O: \\server01\options
ENDIF
But This is not what I prefer because I don't know how this works out when a user is a member of different groups and I can’t control user share in samba only

I think I found it,
Quote:
if exist \\pc-venster\groepen\* NET USE G: \\pc-venster\groepen
Now I just have to test it

edit:
from what I tested on my local machine it even works if no files where listed and it doesn't do anything if it can't watch in the dir, but i didn't test it in the real network
