Samba share and accdb Access 2007 files very slow performance.
 

Hi All,

How to properly configure samba for using ACCESS 2007 databases ?

Currently I using CENTOS 7 and SAMBA v4. When I try open access database from samba share performance is very slow.(about 1 min to open simple Northwind 2007.accdb). Server CENTOS 7 core, client Windows 7x64.



My smb.conf details:

directory mode = 0777

Improper dns settings can slow down ur network.
check u have configured dns settings under both samba server and windows properly. Check with ur cabling try swapping cables.
