Samba Print Server

Hello,

I've made a print server with cups and samba. If I send a job to print using cups I can see that my job is at /var/spool/cups. The problem comes when printing through Samba. I see that the folder /var/spool/samba has been modified and also /var/spool/cups but no spool jobs appear. I know that the folder has been modified by using the command ls -l.
Do you know what can be the cause of the problem? I need the jobs to stay on the spool directory.

When the print job is complete the files are automatically deleted by default. The setting in the cups.conf file PreserveJobFiles which should be set to yes. I assume that you can print successfully.
