SAMBA PDC Windows XP Roaming Profile Issue [SOLVED]

I wanted to post this in case someone else has this problem.

Samba PDC with multiple workstations (2000, XP, 7). The only remaining XP user was having an issue with their roaming profile being unable to be saved to the server and when they would log back in, it wouldn't be able to find their local profile. This was a new problem that suddenly appeared out of no where after the system had been working fine for literally years.

Turns out the user was watching the Olympics online. Adobe Flash was creating a drm folder with an "=" in the folder name. I'm 99% sure Linux doesn't like that and this is where the problem occurred. The only solution was to log in and delete the offending folder.

But what to do if it occurs again? I created a logoff script and added it to that machine via gpedit.msc. Make sure to add it to logoff scripts and not shutdown scripts. Shutdown happens too late for the script to be effective.

Code:
@ECHO OFF

Set dir="%APPDATA%\Adobe\Flash Player\APSPrivateData2\0"

Echo Deleting all files from %dir%
del %dir%\* /F /Q

Echo Deleting all folders from %dir%
for /d %%p in (%dir%\*) Do rd /Q /S "%%p"
@echo Folder deleted.

exit
Full disclosure: I copied this script from some windows forum that some user submitted. It was the most elegant so I used it. I could have found some way to find and delete just the offending folders with an "=" in them, but these files and folders get repopulated anytime Flash uses drm and frankly, since this is the only machine with this problem and Flash is becoming obsolete, I consider this 'good enough'.

Hope this helps someone.
