What interfaces is your smb.conf bound to? Is it set to specific IP's or subnets?

can you ping 10.10.40.211 ?

Hi

Are you able to view sharing directories?

Code:
smbclient -L //10.10.40.211/IBM -U mary
use share name when you access samba from client side.

Code:
smbclient //10.10.40.211/IBM -U mary
