samba cluster and load balancing with pacemaker?

Hi, i wanted to setup a samba cluster with a shared filesystem over a SAN using sles11 so i went Pacemaker using the the high availability extension for sles documentation as guide. So far so good but then a clustered IP adress was configured in a clone-group and i got messed up with my own ideas!.

1- Having a couple of samba servers with a shared volume over a SAN using CTDB and a clone-grouped clustered ip address automacally solves the whole load balancing stuff??.

2- Should i go LVS(using IPLB) as i originally intended???.

3- Is there any recommended architecture or tool to build a samba server with load balancing??.

thanx in advance.
