samba and windows 2008 AD
 

I've got a linux machine that i've joined to an 2008 AD domain using winbind. Everything seems to be working fine except for the UID. I've got Identity Management for UNIX install ed on my Windows 2008 AD box, and ever config option i try i cant get it to pull the UID from AD. The only way i was able to get it close was to use RID, but i want to be able to specify a UID. I'm also using samba version 3.5.4.

Any suggestions would be great

I would strongly recommend using likewise. Trust it is awesome.
