rsyslog issue

Hi,

I try to setup remote rsyslog server. Here is what I have in the /etc/syslog.conf file

*.notice /auditdata/audit/auditdata.txt

/auditdata is a mount point

somehow after I restart the rsyslog daemon, does not create /auditdata/audit/auditdata.txt

Thanks for your help.

I'm not sure that rsyslog will create the audit directory as well, does that exist ?
